Welcome to StopNic. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the StopNic mobile application ("App") operated by StopNic ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to comply with these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
StopNic is a nicotine cessation support application that provides educational content, AI-powered craving support, progress tracking, and community features to help users quit nicotine. The App is designed as a support tool and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
StopNic is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The content, AI responses, and features in the App are for informational and motivational purposes only. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making decisions about your health. If you experience severe withdrawal symptoms or health concerns, seek immediate medical attention.
The success rates and statistics referenced in the App are based on general research and may not reflect individual outcomes. Results vary from person to person.
You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information and to update it as needed.

Free Trial: The 3-day free trial is available with the Annual plan only. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

When using community features, you agree to treat others with respect and kindness. We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these guidelines. Content that promotes nicotine use, shares harmful advice, or harasses other users will be removed.
The SOS chatbot and AI features use artificial intelligence to generate responses. While we strive for accuracy and helpfulness, AI responses may not always be perfect. AI-generated content should not be considered professional medical, psychological, or health advice. You use AI features at your own discretion.
All content in the App, including text, graphics, logos, images, educational materials, and software, is the property of StopNic or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.
You retain ownership of content you create (community posts, notes, reflections). By posting content in community features, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the App. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any third-party rights.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, StopNic shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We do not guarantee that the App will help you quit nicotine. Individual results depend on many factors including personal commitment, health conditions, and level of addiction.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App at any time.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which StopNic operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
